Warranty Policy

These Warranty Terms and Conditions (“Warranty”) are issued by Hisense Electronics (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“Supplier”). By purchasing, using, or seeking service for this Product, the Customer agrees to be bound by the terms set out herein.


1. WARRANTY PERIOD

The Supplier warrants that the Product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase (“Warranty Period”), subject to the terms herein.

The Warranty Period begins from the date stated on the original proof of purchase, or, if unavailable, from the Product’s manufacturing date as determined from the serial number. The Warranty covers all parts and labour required to rectify defects in materials or workmanship, and the Supplier reserves the right to retain any replaced components or parts.


2. SCOPE OF WARRANTY:

A. FREE REPAIR WARRANTY

During the warranty period, The Supplier or an authorised service providers will repair any product found to have defects in materials or workmanship.

The Supplier reserves the right to retain any parts or components replaced during the warranty process.

Service charges may apply for:

• Requests made after the expiry of the Warranty Period;

• Defects or issues not covered under this Warranty

 

3. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS: 

This warranty does NOT cover the following:

  1. Damage caused by accidents, fire, flooding, lightning, natural disasters or other Acts of God.

  2. Damage occurring during transportation, shipping, or handling not performed by Supplier or authorised service providers.

  3. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, failure to follow the operating instructions, or use inconsistent with the Product’s intended purpose.

  4. Damage caused by corrosion, battery leakage, improper voltage supply, or insect/animal infestation.

  5. Malfunctions caused by operation in extreme or unsuitable environmental conditions, including excessive heat, humidity, dust, or contact with liquids or chemicals.

  6. Unauthorised modifications, alterations, repairs, or attempts to tamper with the Product, serial number, or warranty seals.

  7. Accessories such as remote controls (6 month warranty), batteries, adapters, antennae, and distortion caused by antenna/cable TV setup.

  8. External components including levers, plugs, sockets, cords, cosmetic parts, and decorative elements.

  9. Breakage or damage to fragile parts such as LCD/LED screens caused by impact, pressure, or exposure to moisture.

  10. Routine maintenance services including cleaning, general servicing, inspections, or demonstration/installation services.

  11. Product demonstration or installation services.

  12. Products with serial numbers removed, altered, defaced or made illegible.

  13. Warranty voided due to tampering or broken warranty seals.

  14. Defects attributable to software or firmware alterations, modifications, or installation of unauthorised third-party applications.

  15. Malfunctions caused by third-party media services, content, or software compatibility.

 

4. PRODUCT REPLACEMENT POLICY

Within seven (7) days from the date of purchase, customers may request an exchange or replacement if a manufacturing defect is identified following reasonable assessment. Any replacement provided will be of the same model or, where unavailable, a comparable equivalent.

After the initial seven (7) days, where a product is found to have a manufacturing defect, remedies may be provided following reasonable assessment.


Repair will generally be the primary remedy. A replacement may be offered where:

• the defect cannot be remedied within a reasonable time; or

• the same defect recurs despite reasonable repair attempts.


The Supplier will assess whether an issue is attributable to a manufacturing defect based on reasonable technical evaluation and available evidence. Such assessment shall be carried out fairly and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Any product or part replaced shall become the property of the Supplier, unless otherwise required to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

 

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

The Supplier makes this warranty subject to the following limitations:

  1. Warranty is valid only within Singapore, and applies only to products purchased in Singapore authorized stores by customers residing in Singapore.

  2. The Supplier shall not liable for any accidental or consequential damages. The warranty is limited to repair or replacement by Supplier or an authorized service center.

  3. This Product is intended for private domestic use only. Use of the Product for commercial, industrial, or continuous operation may void this Warranty.

  4. The Company reserves the right to refuse access to services in inaccessible areas, restricted areas, areas at risk of danger due to places or people or events, situations that risk causing danger.

  5. The Company reserves the right to change the product warranty conditions without prior notice.

  6. The warranty certificate will not be reissued if lost.

  7. The product has exceeded the applicable warranty period.

  8. Damage resulting from improper use, mishandling, abuse, or negligence after purchase.

  9. Natural ageing of materials, normal wear and tear, or changes of mind by the customer.

  10. Any alteration, modification, or tampering with the proof of purchase or the product’s model or serial number, including removal or illegibility.

  11. In the event of a missing purchase invoice, the Supplier may use the product serial number to determine warranty eligibility, subject to verification.

  12. Repairs, servicing, or modifications carried out by unauthorized individuals or service providers.

  13. Defects caused by excessive usage beyond the product’s intended purpose.

  14. Defects arising from misuse, abuse, or operation under environmental conditions not in accordance with the user manual.

  15. Damage caused by the use of non-recommended peripherals, accessories, or additional equipment.

  16. Damage caused by external or natural factors, including but not limited to lightning, power surges, abnormal voltage, fire, floods, rain, or other natural disasters.

  17. Image retention is not covered under this warranty, as it is a temporary condition that may disappear over time.

  18. Screen damage caused by burn-in is not covered, as it is considered user-induced damage (e.g. leaving static images on screen for prolonged periods without turning off the TV).

  19. Home service is available only for LED/LCD TVs of 40 inches and above. Products below 40 inches shall be serviced on a carry-in basis, whereby the customer is required to bring the product to an authorized service centre.

 

6. IMPORTANT NOTE:

  1. Proof of purchase (original sales invoice/receipt) must be presented for warranty service. If the above requirements cannot be produced, warranty shall be based on the production date.

  2. Transportation, delivery, and handling costs for sending the product to or from Supplier or authorised service providers are borne by the consumer if the issue is not covered under warranty.

  3. The Supplier reserves the right to charge fees for out of warranty repair/service of any nature and is not liable for non-compliance with these terms.

  4. Customer must ensure safe and reasonable access to the product for service personnel. The Supplier reserves the right to decline service in inaccessible or hazardous locations.

8. RETURN POLICY

You may return your order if you have received the wrong item in your package.

The general requirements for returns are as follows:

  1. You have proof of purchase (order invoice number and receipt).
  2. The goods must be in new condition and returned in the original, unopened packaging along with all original accessories (including manuals, warranty cards, and certificate of authenticity) and any gifts received with them.
  3. The product must not have been used.

Our customer support team will verify the return reason and arrange for the return. We reserve the right to reject any return, exchange, or refund deemed unfit or unreasonable.

9. REFUNDS POLICY

It is important that you read and understand these terms and conditions before purchasing any items from us.

Please note that by purchasing any items from us you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below.

A 5% service charge will be imposed for customers who cancel their order(s) in advance of the delivery date or change of mind.

Once we receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method:

  1. If you paid by credit or debit card, refunds will be sent to the card-issuing bank within five business days of receipt of the returned item or cancellation request. Please contact the card-issuing bank with questions about when the credit will be posted to your account.

10. SHIPPING POLICY

  • For PRE-ORDERS, our Customer Support will contact you again to arrange for the necessary procedures once our stocks are available.
  • For IN-STOCK, please allow 1-2 days for our operations partners to make delivery arrangements with you.
